Description
The Torres del Paine ecocamp offers the perfect compromise between hotel accommodation and camping. The camp features large dome-shaped tents where you can stand up straight and lie down on a real bed and eat good food in our dining tent. You avoid the ardours and discomfort of traditional camping while remaining in closer contact with the environment and in harmony with nature than is possible in a hotel. All expeditions and tours offer English speaking guides, and are designed to make your trekking experience, wildlife tour, or photography safari a special and unforgettable experience where you will be able to relax from the pressures of everyday life and genuinely recreate yourself surrounded by the wonders of Patagonian natural beauty.
Their Story
Patagonia EcoCamp design was inspired on the traditional Kawesqar hut resembling and igloo and a dome at the same time. The domes are removed each winter to minimize their impact on the environment. Energy is obtained from entirely renewable sources including solar and wind power, and waste is minimized through a rigorous recycling and waste composting program.
