Leopard Walk Lodge is located on the edge of a rare sand forest habitat in Suni-Ridge Private Wildlife Reserve on the northeast coast of South Africa in KwaZulu Natal. Accommodation is provided in 2 fully furnished cottages. The lodge and the surrounding reserve provides an ideal setting for wildlife observation. The sand forest is home to a variety of animals including leopard and nyala (antelope) and zebra, impala, and wildebeest roam the neighboring grasslands. Nearby is the Greater Saint Lucia Wetland Park, a World Heritage Site, where five distinct ecosystems meet and offer incomparable biodiversity. In the north of the park is the shoreline and lush forests on tall dunes. There are sandy beaches and coral reefs in the marine reserve at Sodwana Bay. A short drive will bring you to the Hluhluwe Umfolozi and Mkuze Game Reserves, which are inhabited by the "big five", including the endangered black rhino, white rhino, elephant, buffalo, lion and leopard. Other activities available to guests include snorkeling, scuba diving, mountain biking, and visits to local communities.
