Perched on the edge of a grassy knoll about 7 miles from San Ignacio, overlooking the sleepy Macal River in the foothills of the Maya Mountains, Chaa Creek’s individually designed, thatched cottages are set in lush tropical gardens and reflect an atmosphere of elegance. Charmingly decorated villas and suites blend fine fabrics, elegant furnishings, and antiques to create a romantic ambiance in a stunning rainforest setting. The cottage compound, within the Chaa Creek nature reserve, provides a perfect compromise between comfort and a true rainforest experience.

The Lodge is comprised of 18 highly comfortable thatched-roof cottages and six individually designed luxury suites – all individually and colorfully designed and set in lush tropical gardens with a stunning rainforest backdrop.
